The Callisto Protocol is a sci-fi-horror game. It was made by some of the same people who worked on Dead Space. It came out in rough shape, especially on pc. Its combat is simple but not great. You mainly use melee (close-up fighting). There’s a baton to hit enemies. You can also block, but dodging is better.
There are guns, but they feel weak. Ammo is rare and expensive. Players can upgrade their weapons, but the process takes a long time. Most people don’t even unlock all upgrades after finishing the game. The best tool is the GRP, a gravity glove. This part is fun and gives you more control.
Enemies are boring and repetitive. Most are zombie-like monsters. They don’t change much. There are a few bigger monsters and one main boss, but not much variety.

Jacob tries to stop them, but the ship crashes. Max dies. Jacob survives but is arrested for no reason and sent to the prison. Soon, a strange virus breaks out in the prison. Inmates turn into monsters.
